Senior management team
The University is managed by the Vice-Chancellor and the senior management team. Senior academic and administrative officers provide support to the senior management team through the University Executive Committee.
The Vice-Chancellor is social scientist Professor Dame Glynis Breakwell. As Vice-Chancellor, she is both the academic leader and chief executive of the University.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Provost is Professor Bernie Morley who has responsibility for deputising for the Vice-Chancellor as necessary. He is also currently responsible for the University’s international portfolio.
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching) is Professor Peter Lambert, who has responsibility for the University's Learning and Teaching Strategy.
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) is Professor Jonathan Knight, who has responsibility for the development and implementation of the University's Research Strategy.
The Vice-President (Implementation) is Mr Steve Egan, who is responsible for catalysing institutional innovation and the implementation of University strategy.
The Director of Finance & Commercial Services is Mrs Diane Aderyn.
The University Secretary is Mr Mark Humphriss.
The Director of Policy & Planning is Dr Nicky Kemp.
