Exploring Bath

The city
Choose from the boutique and high-street shopping, museums and art galleries, art festivals, nightlife, restaurants, cafés and pubs, outdoor activities - and unwind afterwards with a visit to the Thermae Bath Spa in the city centre.
The countryside
Don't miss the opportunity to take a trip outside the city to see the surrounding countryside. The Cotswolds, the Mendips, the Wye Valley and the Forest Of Dean are all within day-trip distance, and other rural attractions include nearby Stonehenge, Salisbury, Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge. Make a weekend of it by visiting the coastline of Devon and Cornwall - home of the UK's top surfing spots.
City breaks
If you fancy a city break, Bristol, Oxford and Cardiff are within easy reach, while London is just over an hour away on the train.
