Information for current MArch students

Links from these pages contain information on the placements you are required to do as part of the programme.

You will also find the MArch Student Handbook here.  This contains full information about your course and other administrative issues and regulations.  It has two sections.  Section One contains programme specific information; Section Two contains more general information about your studies, assessment regulations, student support and the department.  Links to the handbooks can be found here:

Section One

Section Two

As a student here you are expected to have read this document.

A separate Placement Handbook covers placement information. This will be available soon.

All coursework you hand into the Undergraduate office must be clearly marked with your name, student number, course/year, unit code/title and date.  You should also keep a copy of any work you hand in.  Loose sheets of paper will not be accepted and all coursework should be stapled or bound into a single document.

Authorship declaration

All undergraduate and taught MSc students are required to complete an Authorship declaration EACH year.  A signed copy of the form must be handed in to the Department office by 11 October.  Work cannot be assessed until this form has been completed. Students who return from suspense in Semester 2 will need to complete a form in January.  This must be handed in to Department Office by the end of February.
The Authorship form can be accessed here.

The Student Self-Assessment form can be downloaded here in Word or PDF format.
