100% satisfaction in NSS

architectsAll our undergraduate degree programmes in Architecture and Civil Engineering have received a 100% rating for overall student satisfaction in the 2012 National Student Survey results putting us at number 1 in the UK. This result recognises our outstanding approach to student learning within an inspirational environment.

Every 2011/12 final-year student on our BSc Architecture, Master of Architecture, Master of Civil Engineering and Master of Civil and Architectural Engineering degree programmes was satisfied or very satisfied overall with the programme each had studied at Bath.

Professor Tim Ibell, Head of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, added: 'These NSS results are tremendous. They demonstrate that our students benefit from an excellent learning environment, such that they can go on to successful careers in their chosen profession. I am very proud of this, and our focus, as ever, is on maintaining these high standards.'

This result accompanies an excellent year for the University as a whole, which has scored 91% for overall student satisfaction, six points above the national average for Higher Education Institutions.
