Tim Ibell elected Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering
Professor Tim Ibell has been elected as a Fellow of the highly prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering.
Tim's citation for election pointed to award-winning research and teaching in structural
engineering and leadership in both academia and the profession of structural engineering.
'I am delighted to have been elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. It is a
massive honour and privilege. Many colleagues at Bath and elsewhere have supported me in this
nomination, and I am extremely grateful to them all. I hope to contribute to the work of the
Academy over the coming years, particularly in the areas of research and education.' said Tim.
