The Department employs a wide range of specialists in order to maintain and enhance its status in teaching and research. We have a large number of academic staff who carry out research, teaching and administration. We have an even larger number of studio tutors, who are practising architects and civil engineers and who assist with teaching our students in the design studios. A number of visiting academics help to shape our portfolio across teaching, research and strategy. We rely tremendously on our support staff for the smooth running of our administration. And we look to our research fellows and officers to assist in the leadership of many of our major research ventures.
