Profile
Julia Kashdan-Brown has been a Teaching Fellow and Studio Tutor since 2009 for 1st, 4th and 6th Year and was 3rd Year Studio Leader from 2012 to 2013.
Julia now teaches across the years in 3rd and 4th Year and provides student placement support.
Julia is currently a Partner at Kashdan Brown Architecture & Urban Design (KBAUD) and was previously a Partner at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios LLP where she worked for 21 years.
University of Bath: Julia has been a Teaching Fellow and Studio Tutor since 2009 for 1st,4th and 6th Year. From 2012 Julia is 3rd Year Studio Leader and continues to teach in 4th Year.
In Practice: Julia is co-founder of Kashdan Brown Architecture & Urban Design (KBAUD), established with Architect husband Julian Kashdan-Brown, bringing together combined expertise from architectural design, artist collaborations and urban design and development appraisal skills.
Julia was a Partner at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios LLP from 1988-2009 and co-founder of Studio KAH from 2009-2011.
Julia has expertise in a wide range and scale of building types across several sectors, with specific experience in arts-related buildings, involving close liaison with artists and local communities. Julia is also a printmaker.
