Links with Industry and Practice
The Department prides itself on its outstanding links with industry and the industry’s recognised Professional Institutions . Our teaching and research portfolio reflects this. Our Alumni are some of our best ambassadors for continuing industrial links, and our Placement Students invariably foster strong permanent links between the Department and their workplace. We encourage and nurture these links, and such industrial connection has led to some extraordinary collaborative consultancy work undertaken within the Department, including Chris Williams’ involvement with Buro Happold on the design of the British Museum Great Court Roof.
