- The Futurebuild conference will be taking place from Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 September 2013.
- David Coley invited to become a Reviewer for IPCC.
- The special issue of Building and Environment that David Coley has been co-authoring with Pieter de Wilde has finally been printed.
Grant activity
- Evaluation of the design performance of a Sainsbury's in Bath, joint project with Keir; funding from TSB; £40k. 2 years.
- Energy reduction in buildings (BuildTEDDI), joint project with CS, Psychology and others; funding from EPSRC; £1.5m successful. 4 years.
- Evaluation of the design performance of Estover Community College in Plymouth, joint project with AECOM; funding from TSB; £37k; successful. 2 years.
Meetings etc
- Spent two days in Ulster reviewing a potential foundation degree in building services and renewable energy - in may ways they were ahead of us.
- Off to COBEE 2012 in Colorado with Tom and Alfonso at the end of July.
- Several meetings with CIBSE's climate task force and the Guide-A committee.
