Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering

Applicant visit days

Our applicant visit days are department-based open days for offer holders. They usually take place between October and April.

You will be invited to a choice of dates once you have received an offer from us. It’s a great way to take a closer look at the Department before making your final UCAS choices.

These days provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the degree and to meet with key members of staff, as well as current students. You’ll have an introductory talk with the chance to learn about the admissions process, have your questions answered by current students, a tour of the campus and the department facilities as well as a taster session illustrating what the programme would be like to study.

Can I attend if I haven’t applied yet?

If you want to apply for one of our degree courses then you are more than welcome to join us on one of these days. But, as space is tight, we will have to give priority to those who have received an offer from us. Please contact us for more details.

Are there other opportunities to visit?

We also hold University Open Days which you can come to before you even start your UCAS application.
