University of Bath UniTasters
The University of Bath UniTasters are FREE of charge and fully residential. The main aim of the UniTasters is to give students a taste of university life. If you are not sure whether you want to go to university, the UniTaster provides an excellent opportunity for you to see what university is like.
In 2010, we are offering a Year 11 Aimhigher UniTaster and a Year 12 UniTaster (funded by the RDA).
Year 11 UniTaster
'Generic' UniTaster (offering tasters in a number of subjects) and designed for Year 11 students from the SW region.
Recruitment to the Year 11 Aimhigher UniTaster held at Bath is not carried out directly by the University but is co-ordinated by regional UniTaster co-ordinators. Your school should be able to tell you whether it is sending Year 11 students to regional UniTasters.
Year 12 UniTaster
Year 12 UniTaster designed for Year 12 students from schools, sixth form colleges and FE colleges. This UniTaster offers three subject strands: Sports Studies, Bio Sciences and Social Science. The University carries out recruitment for this Summer School.
