Give careers support
There are several different ways that alumni can give careers support to current students or fellow alumni.
Often alumni visit their old department and arrange informal chats with current students, or more formal talks on an industry or employer can be arranged. Contact us to find out more.
Become a Graduate Contact
Students and recent graduates can contact you for advice on interviews, assessment centres, or just to help them decide which career path is for them. Find out more about the Careers Advisory Service Graduate Contact List.
Offer a placement
Offering a high-quality, professional placement, lasting anything from two weeks to a year, can be one of the best ways to support the University. Around two thirds of Bath students undertake a placement while they are studying, making our graduates amongst the most employable in the UK. If you could offer a placement to a student, please get in touch.
Our group, University of Bath Alumni Community, is a great informal way to offer career advice and share contacts. Some alumni also offer jobs to Bath graduates through the group. You will need to have a LinkedIn account to join the group.
