BA2 blasts off

Mon Jul 11 16:46:00 BST 2016

If you’ve ever wondered what deep space looks like, where cats get their patches or just how fair Fairtrade actually is, you’ll find the answers in the all new BA2, which is now available on campus.

The magazine has been relaunched by the Department of Development & Alumni Relations, who worked closely with academics, students and alumni over the last few months to capture what’s great about our community and present it in a fresh new way.

Inside BA2:

  • Our first Professor of Extragalactic Astronomy, Carole Mundell, talks big bangs, big data and black holes.

  • TV legend and TeenTech founder, Maggie Philbin, answers questions on everything from haptics to imposter syndrome.

  • Guardian journalist, James Randerson, comes back to campus to meet his PhD supervisor, Professor Laurence Hurst.

  • Stage fright? Our experts share the best way to keep cool in the heat of the moment.

  • Material Sciences, class of ’76, recreate their group photo 40 years on.

  • Recent graduate, Julie Goffredo, shares the secret of Bath’s best cheesy chips.

  • And more..

Copies of BA2 are available in the library. Alternatively, you can view it online.
