Vote Amy Williams for BBC Sports Personality of the Year!

Bath alumna Amy Williams (Sports Performance 2007) won Britain's first individual Winter Olympics gold medal for 30 years with victory in the women's bob skeleton this year. Cast your vote for Amy in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year on 19 December. Read more.

Take a look around the new Student Centre

As you will have seen in the latest BA2, the Student Centre is now open, providing a hub for student life on campus. A grant from the Alumni Fund helped kit out the new building – the Students’ Union would like to thank alumni for your support. Take a tour of the Centre with the SU President.

Ugandan scholar wins top international prize

One of our scholarship students has won the prestigious title of MBA Student of the Year 2010. Susan Mawemuko (MBA 2010) studied at the University’s School of Management, and was the only finalist from a UK business school. Read about Susan's success.

Record number of students awarded scholarships

One-hundred-and-twenty new scholars were welcomed to the University at our annual Charter Day. Students were presented to the Vice-Chancellor and awarded a certificate in front of a packed University Hall audience, made up of proud parents and donors. Bath graduates win national documentary festival award

A short film by Rob Hollingworth (BSc 2002, MSc 2003) and Dr Al Garfield (MBiol 2003, PhD 2003) has won the Digital Revolutions Award at the 2010 Sheffield Documentary Festival. Watch 'The Scanner' on YouTube.

Hong Kong alumni get together for reunion dinner

The Hong Kong Chapter relaunched on 3 September when 40 alumni met at the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Members Club in Central Hong Kong to network, catch up with friends and relive old memories.
