The Telethon
Applications for Spring 2013 are now open - apply now.
Twice a year teams of students work on the Alumni Fund telethon campaign. A telethon role is highly sought after on campus - we receive over 200 applications each year.
The job involves calling our alumni, in the UK and overseas, to fundraise for the many Alumni Fund projects which enhance the student experience. The team work from our special call room on campus.
Being a caller gives you the opportunity to develop valuable skills such as communication, teamwork and the ability to negotiate, which will benefit you both in your time at Bath and your future career. Every team member is an ambassador for the University, therefore it is essential that we recruit people who are enthusiastic about Bath and who will be dedicated to their work with the Alumni Fund.

“Working on the telethon is a much more rewarding job than anything I’ve done previously – it’s great to spend time talking to interesting people who studied here before us. Being a telethon caller has made me aware of the great work the Alumni Fund does, and I am proud to be involved in a charity that I really, genuinely believe in.”
