Complete a survey or evaluation
All eligible students have an equal chance of winning by completing a survey (Unit Evaluation, NSS, UKES, PTES, PRES, PDES or PGT Dissertation Survey) to give feedback to the University. Find out below about prizes available for your year and level of survey.
Visit go.bath.ac.uk/haveyoursay to access the relevant survey for you. You will need your username and student number (found on on your library card and SAMIS profile) to login and complete the survey (Unit Evaluation, NSS, UKES, PTES, PRES, PDES or PGT Dissertation Survey). Unit Evaluations are accessed via SAMIS or the link in Moodle.
This is your opportunity to tell us what you think the University does well, and what we could improve. Your responses will help us to improve learning and teaching, student services and our campus. Your views about your experience as a student will also help to inform potential applicants as they decide whether to follow in your footsteps and study at Bath.
Win £250 by completing UKES, PTES, PRES or PDES:
All eligible undergraduate and postgraduate students will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win £250 by completing UKES, PTES, PRES or PDES. There will be one winner for each survey.
Win luxury prizes by completing NSS:
All final year undergraduate students are asked to give us feedback by completing the NSS. All final year undergraduates will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of the following fantastic prizes:
- 1 x English Sparkling Wine Afternoon Tea for four in the elegant 18th century Pump Rooms
- 2 x Twilight Package for two at Thermae Bath Spa
Win 5 x £100 for you and £250 per semester for your department by completing Unit Evaluations:
All taught undergraduate and postgraduate students will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win 5 x £100 by completing unit evaluations. There is also a £250 cash prize per semester for the department who achieves the largest percentage point increase in response rate from 2022/23 to be spend on improving the student experience.
Win 1 x £50 Amazon voucher by completing PGT Dissertation Survey:
All postgraduate taught students eligible for PTES will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win 1 x £50 Amazon voucher by completing the PGT Dissertation Survey.

The closing dates for 2023/24 surveys are:

- National Student Survey (NSS) - Tuesday 30 April 2024.
- United Kingdom Engagement Survey (UKES) - Thursday 29 February 2024.
- Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) - Tuesday 30 April 2024.
- Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) - runs biennially (next run in spring 2025)
- Professional Doctorate Experience Survey (PDES) - runs biennially (next run in spring 2025)
