Accommodation

Our students usually choose to live in University accommodation to enjoy the opportunity of living alongside other students from different countries, to practise their English and enjoy their free time together. All University accommodation is subject to availability.

Summer Pre-sessional courses

Students on summer courses (July to September) can normally be guaranteed a place in University accommodation, which is normally on campus in Westwood (for Pre-sessional Course D (Management) and Pre-sessional Course D students).  For summer 2017, the choice of accommodation includes Carpenter House and The Exchange (for Pre-sessional Course C (Management) and Pre-sessional Course C students) both located in the centre of Bath. Carpenter House is a self-catered University accommodation complex with standard rooms, close to the main University bus stop and the railway station. The Exchange is a new complex with ensuite bathrooms located in the popular Kingsmead area in the city centre and managed by Hello Student. It is a short walk to the bus stop and has amenities including shops, restaurants and a cinema next door to the building.

Accommodation applications will open in May. Please apply for accommodation as early as possible.

Year-round Pre-sessional courses (January to September)

We will do our best to provide University accommodation for all students who would like it, but occasionally it may not be possible at the start of a course.  It is important that you apply for accommodation as early as possible. Accommodation for year-round Pre-sessional students is normally off-campus in Thornbank Gardens or Pulteney Court.
