Winter celebrationsThe Students' Union, International Students Association and the Skills Centre are delighted to be hosting an International Winter Celebration on Thursday 1 December 2016. The event will start promptly at 5.00 pm and last until 7.30 pm. It will take place in Chancellors' Building 3.5. All students are invited to come along to this informal event to celebrate and experience cultural diversity on our international campus.

Free to attend and no registration needed, you can come along with your friends to enjoy free refreshments, meet members from the SU's cultural societies and discover more about each other’s countries and how winter is celebrated around the world. You will be encouraged to participate in different activities, such as international food tasting and Chinese calligraphy, and participate in internationally-themed competitions. You will also be able to find out more about our language learning and inter-cultural awareness development opportunities.

You will be welcomed to this event by Professor Peter Lambert, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching). Commenting on this event, Professor Lambert said:

"I am delighted to be welcoming students to this celebration of international culture at the University. The University and Students' Union together have much to offer our student community, including  international clubs and societies, language learning and our latest development, a new  inter-cultural awareness strand within our Bath Award. I hope you will be able to join us to celebrate internationalism."
