Develop your skills at Bath

If you are working on getting those extra marks in your essay and reports, come and speak to one of our writing tutors.

Writing Centre drop-in sessions offer you the opportunity to speak to a writing tutor, without needing to book an appointment.

The Writing Centre is launching new drop-in sessions from Monday 20 March to provide more opportunities for you to get help during your lunch break.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 11.15am – 2.05pm
Wednesday 10.15am – 1.05pm

If you would like a longer appointment, you can book a one-to-one tutorial on the Claverton campus to discuss a specific piece of your writing.

From Monday 20 March, you can also choose to have your writing tutorial in the city centre Virgil Building instead of on campus. Find availability and book a tutorial in the Virgil Building.

You can also drop in to our informal Write Bites workshops, covering topics such as:

•    grammar
•    critical thinking
•    writing for exams.

The next workshop will look at how to form fluent and effective paragraphs. No need to book in advance, just come along to the Writing Centre on Wednesday 15 March from 1.15pm - 2.05pm. You are welcome to bring your lunch and drop by.
