Ethical trading

The university’s venues use organic and ethically sourced ingredients wherever cost and supply allows and Fairtrade products are sold in the majority of venues around campus.  Our coffee supplier is certified Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Organic that guarantees no unnecessary chemicals or pesticides are used.  And our fish is responsibly sourced, from well-managed and sustainable fisheries.  If you’re concerned about a specific dish or particular ingredients, please get in touch and our chefs will provide any information you require about food sourcing and preparation. Contact the venues direct.

Dietary needs

The University strives to cater for students and visitors with particular dietary requirements and do not use alcohol in any of our menus.  Visit our venue pages to view our latest menus or contact our venues and we’ll answer any queries about food preparation, ingredients used in certain dishes, and to discuss your specific needs.
