Ethical trading
The university’s venues use organic and ethically sourced ingredients wherever cost and supply allows. Our coffee supplier is certified Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Organic that guarantees no unnecessary chemicals or pesticides are used. All our eggs are free range, where chickens can roam freely within a farmyard. And our fish is responsibly sourced, from well-managed and sustainable fisheries. If you’re concerned about a specific dish or particular ingredients, please get in touch and our chefs will provide any information you require about food sourcing and preparation. Contact the venues direct.
Vegetarian and vegan options
Many venues on campus provide tasty, nutritionally balanced vegetarian alternatives. Visit the venue pages to view our latest menus – and the latest promotions and loyalty programs in each outlet.
Halal
Foods in the Halal category will be clearly labelled wherever possible. Please contact our venues to find out more about our ingredients and their suitability.
Food intolerance and allergies
Bath University strives to cater for students and visitors with particular food intolerances and allergies. Please contact our venues and we’ll answer any queries about food preparation, ingredients used in specific dishes, and to discuss your needs.
