Booking procedure
If your order is for less than 100 people then please book online. For bookings of more than 100 people please contact 01225 385051/5345.
Minimum order
- Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.00pm on campus: £10.00.
- Any other times/locations: please contact us.
Last orders
Online orders can only be placed up to 48 hours before the delivery time, except for Monday orders, where the notice will be 72 hours.
For orders outside our normal delivery times Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.00pm (excluding bank holidays and university closure days) we will require 5 working days' notice. Subject to availability.
Order cancellations
Cancellation by you
- Up to 48 hours (72 hours for Sunday and Monday orders): no charge will incur.
- 24-48 hours: charge of 50% of the cancelled order to cover costs.
- Less than 24 hours: the full cost will be incurred.
Changes or cancellation by us
We reserve the right to substitute any item ordered. We will ensure that it is an equivalent or similar product to the one replaced. Wherever possible we will endeavor to inform you before the delivery.
Hospitality shall also be entitled to cancel a booking and will notify you of such cancellation by email if any part of the facilities are closed or otherwise unavailable because of events outside the control of the department, and, if we cancel for this reason we will assist you to find an alternative supplier with similar items. We will have no other liability to you in these circumstances.
In all other circumstances Hospitality will incur no liability for any failure to fulfil any contractual obligation if it is prevented from doing so by any cause beyond its reasonable control.
Reduction in numbers
Where an order is amended with the effect that five or more places are cancelled, we reserve the right to make a cancellation charge:
- Less than 48 hours' notice (72 hours for Sunday and Monday orders): charge of 50% per item of the cancelled order to cover costs.
- 24-48 hours' notice: the full cost will be incurred.
Delivery
The Order Receipt form must be signed at the time of delivery and at the time of collection.
We will endeavor to deliver 5 minutes either side of your preferred delivered time.
PLEASE NOTE:
Where no-one is present to accept the order, all items will be left in the requested delivery location. In such circumstances, you will be responsible for the contents of the delivery, including any returnable accessories/cutlery provided. Any items not returned will be subject to additional charges. Collection
We will collect your order within two hours after the delivery time unless instructed otherwise. You are responsible for securing all items subject to collection.

If you wish to keep the delivered equipment for longer than agreed, an appropriate charge will be applied.
Price Increases
Our charges are reviewed annually from 1st September. If you book more than one year ahead the charges Hospitality quotes to you will be subject to revision and you must agree to pay the revised charges. Hospitality will give you notice of any changes in charges as soon as reasonably practicable. If the charges are increased by more than 5% per year, you may cancel the booking without a cancellation charge provided you notify us within 7 days of our sending out the notification of increase.
Supplements
Outside of 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday the following supplements will apply to every order:

VAT
All menu items exclude VAT with the exception of alcoholic beverages, which is mandatory.

We strongly advise you to check the product description. Any special requests outside our menus are subject to availability and may incur a supplement charge.
