Overview
The University of Bath has always maintained close industry links and, through Bath Ventures, seeks to develop partnerships with private and public sector organisations by facilitating academic Consultancy and Intellectual Property Licensing for the development of new products and services by business.
Bath Ventures also manages New Business Creation from the University's £92m+ research portfolio and values close, mutually beneficial relationships in this area with academics, entrepreneurs, business mentors, investors and professional service firms. These relationships are maintained through our Strategic Partnerships and Networks.
The Bath Ventures Innovation Centre also provides practical support and expertise to local technology enterprises and companies that emerge from the University's student and academic research base.
