Welcome!

The Bath India Economic Forum was held on Wednesday 12th December 2007 at the University of Bath’s Claverton Campus.

The Bath India Economic Forum is an annual event hosted by the School of Management at the University of Bath for educating students and business people in the UK about the changing Indian economy and the range of opportunities that are being created to do business with India.

The organising committee would like to thank our 2007 guest of honour, Sunil Bharti Mittal, President, Confederation of Indian Industry Chairman and Group CEO, Bharti Enterprises for his fascinating speech on The Internationalisation of Indian Business.

We would also like to thank our other keynote speakers and guests: Suresh Seetharaman, Co-founder and President, Virgin Comics LLC; Richard Perry, Head of Business Services, UK India Business Council; Chris Mathias, Co-founder, CMG Partners and Arbor Ventures and Shai Vyakarnam, Director, Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, Judge Business School. Their participation and insights made the second Bath India Economic Forum an engaging and thought provoking day for staff, students and guests of the School of Management.
We would also particularly like to thank the Confederation of Indian Industry for their participation in organising the forum.

Photos and audio recordings of the whole event are available from this website, and further information is available on request.

Please check nearer the time for details of the third Bath India Economic Forum, in Autumn 2008.
