Wizzybug Frequently Asked Questions

How much does wizzybug cost?	The price for a Standard package, complete with: Shark Joystick controller, Carer Control, Sealed Lead-Acid Battery & Charger, No tools Seating System, Pelvic Strap & Thoracic Supports is £2800

How can I get to see and try a wizzybug?	See our Information on Demonstrations Sheet

What is the maximum weight the buggy can safely carry?	The maximum user weight is 20kg

Can it be driven on slopes?	Yes but the maximum slope angle is 10 degrees

Is it okay to drive it on grass?	Yes, Wizzybug is happy on any common surface.

How long does it stay charged for?	It will usually run for a few days based on moderate use. A full charge allows the wizzybug to travel 5km on level ground.

What about if we go away and leave it. Does it stay charged up when not in use?	Yes, Wizzybug has a standby charge of two weeks.

Does it just need a standard domestic socket?	Yes, just plug it in anywhere.

But its electrical. How safe is it in the garden and near water?	Well, its not amphibious but it certainly does not mind getting a bit wet. It all low voltage and harmless.

How long does it take to dismantle/re-assemble	Just a few minutes .

Does it come in different colours?	No - just sporty red!

Is the trailer extra?	Yes

How much can it tow?	Just toys - and a few books etc

Does it have brakes?	Yes but the brakes only operate when you are in drive and release the joystick

Can it run away down a slope?	It will stop on a slope if you are in drive but beware there are no brakes when the drive is disengaged.

Is it available for export sales?	No we currently are only able to sell to UK customers
