Applicant Visit Days

Our Applicant Visit Days will take place between October and April.

What are Applicant Visit Days?

You will be invited to a choice of Applicant Visit Days once you have received an offer from us. It’s a great way to take a closer look at the Department before making your final UCAS choices.

These days provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the degree and to meet with key members of staff, as well as current students. You’ll have an introductory talk with the chance to learn about the admissions process, have your questions answered by current students, a tour of the campus and the department facilities as well as a taster session illustrating what the course would be like to study.

Can I attend if I haven’t applied yet?

Our Applicant Visit Days are reserved for applicants who have demonstrated that they have the potential to meet our entry standards. Therefore, we normally only invite offer holders.

We understand that there are some exceptional cases where it is difficult to travel to University Open Days, for example if you live outside the UK. If this is the case we will try to accommodate you subject to availability of spaces. Please contact us for more information.

Are there other opportunities to visit?

We also hold University Open Days which you can come to before you start your UCAS application.
