Creating an Image

How to make the image below to use as your Outlook Signature

Please note: it is not necessary to use an image.  Using images in your emails will significantly increase the size of the email you send and your signature may not display properly in other peoples email clients.

  1.  Download the following Microsoft Publisher zip file containing the above template and unzip the contents.

 

  1. Change the details of the template to reflect your contact details.

 

  1. Select File then Save As

  1. Select Save as type drop down options then select GIF Graphics Interchange Format

4. Select Change

5. Click the radio button to set the resolution to standard printing (150 dpi)

Adding a image

Please note:  instructions for creating an image that complies with the University's Visual Identity standards are above

  1.  Click New E-mail to open a message pane

  1. Select Signature and then Signatures...

  1. Select New and in the box that appears type a name for your signature and click OK

4. Put your cursor in the signature body text box then click to select an image

  1. Select the image that you would like to use and click Insert

  1. Select OK

Please note: you will need to re-open the message box to apply the changes.
