What is a laptop surgery?

Our laptop surgeries are designated slots that we set aside for the servicing of student laptops. These slots are available to any student that needs assistance.

What can I bring my laptop in for?

When are they?

We run the laptop surgeries Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.  We usually deal with 6 laptops per surgery. Due to the popularity of this service slots must be booked in advance.

Where do I go to book?

The service desk located on the Library entrance floor (level 2), open between 9.00 am - 4.45 pm Monday to Friday, Wednesday 10.00 am - 4.45 pm. For more detailed directions see our contact service desk page.

What do I need to bring?

When you bring your laptop we expect you to bring your power supply, UK power adapter and a completed book in sheet with full contact details and description of the problem.

Please note: All work is undertaken at the owners risk and we do not guarantee a turnaround time.
