Set up printing on Windows, Mac and Linux

This page can be used by any one in the University who would like to map their personal computers, Windows, Mac and Linux, to the centrally managed Canon printers.
What might I need before I start?
- If you are connected via the University's Wireless network, you must establish a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection first, before carrying out the instructions below.
- If you are using a non University Managed Windows computer i.e. a personal laptop or a non networked desktop then you will need to download the printer drivers from our secure downloads site. See below for step by step instructions on how to download the drivers .
- If you have an Apple Mac you need to download a driver from Canon otherwise you will find yourself unable to print. Everything you need to know about downloading and installing is included in the Mac Instructions below.
