Essential patches
You MUST install the appropriate Service Pack and patches for the computer as shown below BEFORE connecting it to our network.
The reason for this is that some of the viruses can install themselves on a brand new computer even before the operating system has finished installing (if the computer is connected to the internet and a Windows system is being installed).
You can download the patches from here and burn them onto a CD or store them on a USB device (both available from the Campus Computer Shop).
