BTOpenzone wireless hotspots now on campus

BTOpenzone wireless hotspots are now available on campus where you see this sign. OpenNews 

All you need to use this service is a wireless enabled mobile device.

BTOpenzone is a wireless broadband (Wi-Fi) service that is accessible in public places called hotspots, which include city centres, train stations, airports, hotels and more. To view the University’s wireless areas see our locations web page

Please note: You do not need to use this service if you have a University account; you can use the free University wireless BUCS –WISM.

Who might make use of BTOpenzone:

People who use BT broadband in their home will be able to use this service free for 250 minutes every month. If you do not have BT you will need to buy minutes before you can use this service. Minutes are easy to buy and can be obtained via your mobile device at the time of need.
