Choosing the correct Windows options on the Sunrays
Using the Advanced Windows desktop option on the Sunrays when it is not necessary could result in slowing down the speed of these services for everyone. BUCS have two Windows terminal server services that can be used - please choose the one that is best suited to your needs.

Typical Windows desktop - Terms ---

This option has all the capabilities that you would expect to find on a Windows desktop, and is therefore suitable for most things you would need to use a desktop PC for. So if you are simply using Microsoft Office or wish to browse the Internet you should use the terms service.

Advanced Windows desktop - Gigaterms ---
