BUCS user account creation
Creation of BUCS user accounts - normal service available...

The service desk is now able to create external accounts (also known as Temporary or Lite accounts).

The service desk is now able to create normal user accounts.
Creation and closure of BUCS user accounts will not be possible Tuesday 31 July 2012 and Wednesday 1 August 2012. All account status changes (eg. changing from not-registered to open) will also not be available.
We expect account creation, closure and status changes to be available at the start of business, Thursday, 2 August 2012. However, the functionality will be considered 'at risk', Thursday & Friday, 2 & 3 August 2012 while the new system is monitored.
This large system improvement includes replacing Contacts on the Web (COW) with Access Manager.
Please note: Tuesday 31 July 2012 until some time during week of Monday, 6 August 2012 the following account creation will not be possible:
- External
- Temporary
- Lite
We will let you know when this functionality becomes available as soon as we can.
