Warning phishing attack aimed at Bath University students.
Beware of the latest hoax email attack, today, 3 September 2012, aimed directly at students at the University of Bath claiming to be from the Student Loans company. This email has been sent to extract your Student Loan account details so do not reply.
The email asks you to update your account information via the links provided - this email is not genuine
Best course of action:
- DELETE this email.
- DO NOT follow the link in the email.
- DO NOT reply to the email.
The linked has been flagged by the Google Phishing and Malware list and on the University
firewall so access to the links should now be blocked. The links all end in schemplinks.com .
A reputable company will never ask for your password via email. To find out more about
