Research storage, X drive
We are advising that the research storage area is not used, Tuesday 25 September, 7am and 9am.
We are undertaking some major upgrades. This work will make research storage space inaccessible for varying lengths of time.
The disruption will have no effect on data that is already stored on the X drive. However, if you try to save to the X drive during this period the data could become corrupted. For this reason we strongly advise that you do not use this storage area during our 'at-risk'* period.
* What does 'at risk' mean? The 'at risk' period is the time between 7am and 9am on Tuesdays when we cannot guarantee the availability of our computing services due to scheduled maintenance, modifications or testing that is essential to the continued service that we provide.
