Fix for sophos problem - home users follow instructions
We have today , Thursday 20 September 2012, rolled out a Sophos fix for ALL Windows 7 computers in an attempt to fix the "false positive" messages that people have been receiving. No action is required on your part, however, you will notice pop ups appearing in your Windows tray.

We also have changed the policy on the server to deny access to infected files rather than
move them in the future. For home installations this was already the case.
A copy of the package (SophosRepair.zip) we are using for fixing domain computers can be
found on
Secure Downloads. It has
only been tested on Windows 7 computers, it may or may not work for Windows XP. To run, unzip and
run the RunSophosRepair.cmd as an Administrator.
