Ansys update
If you have Ansys v13 or earlier installed on your PC, please update the licensing information for Ansys to work correctly. The campus public access computers have been centrally updated. The following instructions apply for a small number of devices that are not centrally managed by Bath University Computing Service (BUCS).
Steps to update your licensing information:
- Find C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing file
- Open file and edit file to match the following information:
SERVER=1055@windowslm.campus.bath.ac.uk
ANSYSLI SERVERS=2325@windowslm.campus.bath.ac.uk
- Save and close the file.
Please note that Ansys v14 is packaged and available. Please contact your IT supporter to upgrade to Ansys v14.
