Desktop Publishing

Please note that these IT training courses are for University of Bath staff and are not available to members of the general public or external organisations. Postgraduate students from the University of Bath can attend our sessions for a fee of £5.00 per one and a half hour session.

Publisher 2003: Desktop Publishing

This online course allows you to learn how to use Publisher 2003 for desktop publishing and then try out various publications, for example newsletters and flyers. You will learn how to:

• Use a wizard to create a publication
• Create, format and connect text boxes
• Insert pictures, Clip Art and Word Art
• Preview and print a publication

This course is now available to download and work through in your own time.  The manual and resources required can be downloaded from our Online Resource Area.
