Please note that these IT training courses are for University of Bath staff and are not available to members of the general public or external organisations. Postgraduate students from the University of Bath can attend our sessions for a fee of £5.00 per one and a half hour session.

Corel PDF Fusion

The University of Bath has a site licence for Corel PDF Fusion, a program for creating and manipulating PDF files and a great alternative to Adobe Acrobat

Course Level: Level 1

Pre requisites: This course assumes you have a general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system environment, including:

•    Understanding of files and folders and directory tree structures
•    Knowledge of file types
•    Ability to use multiple windows simultaneously
•    Knowledge of formatting

Mode of Delivery: Self-paced (download to your PC or self paced workshop run on request

Course Description:

Corel PDF Fusion is an all-in-one PDF creator that lets you view files, plus assemble, edit and create PDFs.

At the end of this course you will be able to:

•    Drag and drop files into different views
•    Put together a new document using existing files
•    Use document settings
•    Set document security
•    Stack, remove and crop pages
•    Edit, find and redact text
•    Add notes and comments to text
•    Add hyperlinks and watermarks
•    Email documents
•    Use Corel PDF Fusion with Microsoft Office
•    Use Corel PDF Batch Converter

Nominal Duration:    1½ hours You work at your own pace and so, may finish earlier than the alloted time.

Target Audience: Staff and Post Graduates who wish to learn how to create and manipulate PDF files using PDF Fusion.
