Wiki workshops
A wiki is a web page that can be edited collectively by a group of people. This course is open to all members of staff and will show you how to create and edit a space on the University wiki.
Wiki Workshop - Tutor Led Training
The following objectives will be covered:
- What is a wiki?
- How can a wiki help you in your daily work?
- Setting up your profile and creating tasks
- Maintaining the space and setting preferences
- Editing pages
- Inserting links, tables and images
- Searching and browsing wiki spaces
- Exporting wiki pages to word and pdf files
- Using macros
- Creating templates

Wiki Workshop - Self Service / Self Paced Training
If you are unable to attend any of the above dates, or prefer to learn at your desk we also have an Interactive Wiki Training course which you can follow, this course takes between 2 and 3 hours to complete.
