Format a report
- Formatting in Business Objects is very similar to formatting in Excel.
- As with most standard Windows applications, the Formatting toolbar allows you to change the font, size, colour and justification of selected text.
- You can adjust row height or column width.
- You can change the format of the numbers, the alignment of the text within cells, and apply borders and shading.

Number tab

Allows you to apply a light grid to cells.

Shading tab
|
Allows you to change the colour of cell borders.

Allows you to fill in the space between the end of the text in a cell and the cell border.

Allows you to fill in cells with different colour shadings.

To paste formatting only from a cell:
|
Use the 'Fill' option on the Alignment tab.

Use the Paste Format Only button on the Standard toolbar.
