Format a report


  • Formatting in Business Objects is very similar to formatting in Excel.
  • As with most standard Windows applications, the Formatting toolbar allows you to change the font, size, colour and justification of selected text.
  • You can adjust row height or column width.
  • You can change the format of the numbers, the alignment of the text within cells, and apply borders and shading.

Number tab

Allows you to fill in the space between the end of the text in a cell and the cell border.
Allows you to fill in cells with different colour shadings.

To paste formatting only from a cell:
       
Use the 'Fill' option on the Alignment tab.
Use the Paste button on the Standard toolbar.
Use the Paste Format Only button on the Standard toolbar.
