Create a menu

Type the items for your menu:

	On your Home page.
	On your Navigation page.
	In your Profile.

Create a page called Navigation within your wiki space and type the items for your menu on the Navigation page.

Typing the items for your menu into the Rich Text tab will not work. Click the Wiki Markup tab and type the code that creates the menu into the Wiki Markup editor.

	Create a white header across the menu labelled Team.
	Put the word Team in a larger sized font in the menu.

Typing the word Team in square brackets would create a link to a page called Team. Typing h1. Team will create a white header across the menu labelled Team.

	Create a link to a page called Meetings that does not yet exist.
	Create a bulleted item in the menu.
	Create a blue item in the menu that links to a page called Meetings.

If the page called Meetings does not yet exist, an item will still be created in the menu but it will appear in red. A green cross will appear beside the item in the menu . Clicking the green cross will create a new page called Meetings.

	Create a link to the page called Navigation that is labelled 'edit this menu'.
	Create a link to a page called 'edit this menu'.

Typing h6. [edit this menu|Navigation] into the menu will create a link to the page called Navigation that is labelled 'edit this menu'. Making the heading a heading 6 produces the text in a much smaller font to make it less conspicuous to users. The link exists so that when you wish to edit the menu, the link will take you straight back to the Navigation page to edit it.

Typing h6. [edit this menu|Navigation] into the menu will create a link to the page called Navigation that is labelled 'edit this menu'. The first part of the text within the square brackets forms the text of the hyperlink. The text after the straight line (pipe character) is the name of the page that will be linked to. Making the heading a heading 6 produces the text in a much smaller font to make it less conspicuous to users. The link exists so that when you wish to edit the menu, the link will take you straight back to the Navigation page to edit it.
