Create a menu
If you have selected 'Web Services Left Navigation Theme' as the theme for your
space, you can have a menu at the side of each page.
Theme
A theme is a pre-defined 'look and feel' style.
A theme is applied through the Look and Feel option within Space Administration.

Type the code that creates the menu:

On the Rich Text tab.

Typing h1. Team into the menu will:
|
Create a link to a page called Team.
| |
|
Create a white header across the menu labelled Team.
| |
|
Put the word Team in a larger sized font in the menu.

Typing * [Meetings] into the menu will:
|
Create a link to a page called Meetings that does not yet exist.

Create a bulleted item in the menu.
| |
|
Create a blue item in the menu that links to a page called Meetings.
|
Typing h6. [edit this menu|Navigation] into the menu will:
|
Create a smaller header across the menu.

Create a link to the page called Navigation that is labelled 'edit this menu'.
| |
|
Create a link to a page called 'edit this menu'.

Throughout this exercise, keep your wiki space in a separate window that is open in your browser. (This will enable you to keep this tutorial open in the other window at the same time.)
If you have not already done so, go to this web address https://wiki.bath.ac.uk/dashboard.action
Log in to the wiki.
- Open your Home page in your Personal Space.
- From the Browse menu select Space Admin.
- Under the heading Look and Feel click Themes.
- Select Web Services Left Navigation Theme.
- Click Confirm.
- Return to your Home page.
- From the Add menu select Page.
- Call the new page Navigation.
- Click Save.
- Click the Edit button to edit the Navigation page.
- Click the Wiki Markup tab.
- Reproduce the code shown here then Save the page.
- In the menu that has appeared, click the green cross beside the red word Macros.
- This creates a new page called Macros.
- Save the page.
Use the menu on the left to navigate your way to the next page.
