Delete a macro

  • When you delete a macro you also need to delete any toolbar button relating to the macro.

If a toolbar name is checked on the Toolbars tab of the Customize dialog box:
       
The toolbar is marked for deletion.
You created the toolbar.
The toolbar is displayed.

To delete a button from a toolbar:
       
Right click over the button and click Delete.
With the Customize dialog box open, right click over the button and click Delete.
Drag the button to the Recycle bin.

To delete a toolbar:
       
Check the box next to the toolbar name on the Toolbars tab and click Delete.
Click the toolbar name on the Toolbars tab and click Delete.
Right click over the toolbar and click Delete.

To delete a macro from the Word program:
       
Delete the macro name from the list of macros in the Macros dialog box.
Delete the macro name from the list of macros in the Customize dialog box.
Delete the macro button from the toolbar.

  1. Delete the Macros toolbar that you created.
  2. Delete the macros called Address, Name and Table from the Word program.
