UniDesk from outside the university
Windows
To connect to UniDesk (University Desktop) from home on a Windows machine you will need to connect through our UniDesk Gateway. The UniDesk Gateway is a secure way to connect that uses SSL encryption to protect your session. Windows users who do not use the gateway will often receive the following error:
"unidesk.campus.bath.ac.uk that you are trying to connect to is redirecting you to the remote computer rds-hera.campus.bath.ac.uk. cannot verify that the two belong to the same farm."
See our Windows detailed instructions on connecting through the University Gateway
