Who can have an account

Those listed will have access to the University of Bath computing facilities. To use the facilities you will need to know your username and password.

Students will be informed by letter of their account details. Once they are fully registered their account will automatically be activated.

Non-casual staff can go to the Computing Services Service Desk (in the Library, level 2) where they will be requested to show some identification and given a username and password.

Other people

People other than students and staff must fall into an appropriate category in this classification scheme to be considered for an account. If so, they will need to provide proof of which category they fall in to the relevant Designated Maintainer who can provide advice on taking this forward.

All account holders must familiarise themselves with the Acceptable Use Policy.
