You can get help and advice from Student Services at any time. Find out what we do and make sure you get the most out your university experience.
Lots of students use Student Services every year. We can help you with your needs and to stay on track with your studies.
If you contact us early enough and at the right time our support can make a big difference and help you achieve your full potential.
Disability support tailored to your needs
You can get advice on how to claim Disabled Students Allowance from our Disability Advisers. We can also work with you to make sure you are getting the appropriate support so that you can successfully complete your studies.
Putting your mental health first
If you're suffering from stress or anxiety there are a number of ways we can help you. As well as offering one-to-one counselling sessions we provide a range of groups and workshops throughout the year. If you're feeling homesick or are anxious about exams we have something for you.
Helping you make the most of your finances
If you're worried about money, the Student Money Advice team can you get a grip on your finances. We can advise you on how to budget and make sure you know what you're entitled to financially. We can also signpost you to other sources of help.
Help at all times
Your welfare is important to us. If you need help or advice on any wellbeing or welfare issue you can speak to one of our Wellbeing Advisers. If you're in University Accommodation you can also speak to one of our Resident Tutors who are always on hand. If you are an international student we can offer guidance on settling down to life in the UK.
