Bursaries for taught postgraduate students
If you are a taught postgraduate student starting in the 2017/18 academic year with Home (UK) fee status, you could be eligible for one of the 30 bursaries we offer, each worth £6,000.
If you are eligible for one of these bursaries we will email you when we have opened for applications.
Bursaries for postgraduate research students
If you are a postgraduate research student with Home (UK) and European Union (EU) fee status, you can apply for an Alumni Fund travel bursary to pay for training, travel and other costs.
Scholarships and studentships
Scholarships for international taught postgraduate students
If you are a master's student with Overseas fee status, you may be eligible for one of our scholarships to help you pay your fees. If you are eligible, the money is applied as a discount to your tuition fees, not given to you as cash.

Scholarships and studentships for postgraduate research students
If you are a PhD research student with Home (UK) and European Union (EU) fee status, you may be eligible for a studentship from your Faculty or School. This can contribute towards your tuition fees and living expenses, and often provides a training support grant.

Postgraduate master's students
If you are a master's student with Home (UK) and European Union (EU) fee status starting University in 2017/18, you may be eligible for a loan from Student Finance England of up to £10,000.
Students from the US
If you are a US citizen or national who wants to study at the University of Bath, you may be eligible to apply for a US student loan to help you fund your studies.
Students from Canada
If you're a Canadian citizen or national you may be eligible to apply for a Global Education Management loan to help you with the costs of your studies.
You can look for funding from sources other than those offered by the University. Trusts and charities can make awards for fees, maintenance or research costs to any student, regardless of subject or nationality.

If you are leaving care or are a Foyer resident, we can provide funding and confidential support to help you with your time at University.
