Hardship fund and short term loans
The Hardship Fund can provide non-repayable grants to students in financial difficulty. Short-term loans are also available for temporary cash flow problems
The University of Bath Hardship Fund is a discretionary fund which can provide assistance if you are in financial difficulty. Awards are paid as grants and therefore do not have to be repaid back.
It can be used to help with living and other costs but NOT tuition fees.
If you have a temporary cash flow problem then you can apply for a small short-term loan. Repayments are usually required within two months or when you receive your next loan or bursary payment.
