Submit a proposal for the 2018 IB Educator Certificate University Conference

Proposals are invited for sessions at the conference which takes place 18-20 June 2018.

Proposals are invited for the following types of session. Sessions to be led jointly, as well as individually, will be welcomed.

Research sessions (topic-based)

Submit a proposal to present a session focused on research relating to some aspect of the IB programmes or international education more widely. Each presentation will last for 20 minutes.

Research sessions (methodology-based)

Submit a proposal to present a session focused on research relating to some aspect of methodology in undertaking research focused on the IB or international education more widely. Each presentation will last for 20 minutes.

Round Table sessions (professional development through the IB Educator Certificates)

Submit a proposal to lead a round table session focused on some aspect of engaging with IB Educator Certificates.

Poster presentations

Submit a proposal to design and present a poster, summarising some aspect of research and/or good practice relating to the IB, or international education more widely.

Submission of proposals

Submission deadline: 31 January 2018

Proposals must be submitted online and should include:

  • name of proposer(s)
  • proposer’s email address and postal address
  • title of proposal
  • school, university or other organisation to which proposer is affiliated (if any)
  • the type of session the proposal relates to
  • approximately 300 words, which should clearly summarise the topic of the proposed session, making clear the context and the main issues to be included

Those submitting proposals will receive a response by email by no later than 15 February 2018.
