Centre for the Arts
We have been granted planning permission to build a Centre for the Arts that will provide the University and surrounding region with an exciting new arts venue.
This new building will include a theatre, gallery, performance and rehearsal studios and teaching facilities.
The Centre will offer classes, workshops, performances and exhibitions throughout the year and will be open to the University and local community alike.
With free exhibitions open to the public all day, the gallery will host associated events and talks in the evenings and at weekends.
Executive Education suite
The purpose-built Executive Education suite will host an extended programme of short courses, master classes, speaker events and seminars from the School of Management.
The suite will consist of a large teaching area, breakout spaces and a cafe. The facility will be equipped with high-tech communication kit including superfast broadband and international Skype.
